I agree with two of the other reviewers who make such a bold remark, this IS THE BEST BOOK I've ever read, or rather my FAVORITE BOOK. I would be amiss if I failed to mention that there have been other "books" in my life that have been more important. But for a definitive place to "start with the story" - Sargon is impossible to beat. Not only does Mrs. Bristowe prove that this was Cain, but she unknowingly proves, I think, that Cain was the offspring of Eve and the Serpent and that explains just about everything! Don't worry about the conspiracy theory of an "us vs. them" that some say is the basis for the telling of this piece of our human history. God settled that issue once before in the story of Noah 2,000 years later. Christ himself called them out too, 2,000 years after that! He even said that the key to knowing the time of his return is Noah. They are still here and they are to be taken care of by the One who also made them and still offers them love and forgiveness, just like He does you and me. Besides, who knows that we all don't have some of Cain's blood in us. It's none of our business in other words, nothing we can do about it. What's important is just, for you & me to know the story! It's another piece of the puzzle, but a BIG piece, and a Dot to connect that makes just about everything else in the world make sense now. That is, if you've ever wondered how we got to be this way? It's not for the light thinker nor faint of heart; and it's a pretty hard if not wild story to swallow. But with a sincere heart to know the truth, even if you don't like it, and a completely opened mind, the reader will not help but be able to draw their own conclusions about one of the biggest cover-ups of all time!
