Why have a Blog?

There are as many reasons as there are blogs and I must say that many of them are quite good, Well written and informative. I went to a blog from a link on Twitter and there was a box at the top that said, "Next Blog" So I clicked on it and was just amazed at all the quality blogs I found, Each one from a different author on a variety of subjects. I have a blog on Word Press and have posted a few of my thoughts there. The purpose for this one is a little different though, Because I surf the internet so much in search of various things I'm interested in at the time and want to share what I find without filling up every ones in box, I thought I would post these things here then people can come here and check them out on their own.
