Wow This is a huge topic, So before I say anything I agree the KJV does have errors, To say that the word of God is preserved in the KJV would mean that it is preserved in the NIV. The NIV is missing 64,000 words and 17 complete verses. I even question if the books of Ester and Ecclesiastes should have been included in the first place Feeling that Enoch and Jasher should have been instead.
During the Dark Ages the Catholic Church forbid commoners from owning or reading the Bible. At that time it was only available in Latin and Latin was only taught to Priests, Bibles were actually chained to the pulpit to prevent theft.
Along comes Marty, Martin Luther a Devout Man of God and a Monk changed all that by translating the Bible into German. Marty realized that the common man needed to read the word so the reformation began. Of course the Roman Church did all it could to kill this movement cause they were well aware that once common folk found out that their rights came from God and not the church or the Crown that there would be a revolt. So Tyndale and Wytcliff bumped into Marty and started translating the German manuscript into English. The movement really took off and Christians were persecuted all over Europe. Many escaped by fleeing to Geneva, There they wrote the Geneva Bible and Calvin wrote the foot notes. Calvin spoke out against the Crown and the Pope in his notes. These folks from Geneva Learned that they were descendants of Abraham, Anglo's and Saxons (Saxon Isaak's Son) and they became known as Puritans and the Geneva Bible was a Best Seller. Mean while back in England King James was having fits over the Geneva Bible, Commoners realized that the King was not God Like. and Jimmie had to act fast so he commishioned his buddies to write a new King Friendly version so they ended up using 30% of the Geneva Bible and so much from the Tyndale Bible and a little here and there from some other manuscripts. The Puritans mean while were planning on moving to America The New JerUSAlem They brought with them the Geneva Bible wanting nothing to do with King James and his Bible and for decades the Geneva was the only Bible available here. Crazy Sharp!
Here is my DIY Stropping Block or Leather Hone. I went to The Camp In up in the U.P. of Michigan in September 2010 and One of the sponsors Mike Stewart owner of Bark River Knife and Tool gave a class on Knife Sharpening. Mike used only Leather Strops to sharpen a variety of knives and taught us his techniques. When I got home I made the Stropping Block and ordered Black and Green Stropping Compound from JRE Now for the first time I am able to get my knives sharp enough to shave with very little effort. Iran vs Israel: What The Media Wants You To Forget
The corporate media have been given their orders to throw the focus back on to Iran.
Here is a recap of what they are trying to make you forget.
1. Last Spring, Rose Gottemoeller, an assistant secretary of state and Washington's chief nuclear arms negotiator, asked Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Israel refused.
2. The United Nations passed a resolution calling on Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and to submit to inspections. Israel refused.
3. The IAEA asked Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and to submit to inspections. Israel refused.
4. Iran's formal notification to the IAEA of the planned construction of the backup fuel-rod facility underscores that Iran is playing by the rules of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty which Iran has signed.
5. Iran allows IAEA inspections of all its facilities.
6. Contrary to face-saving claims, it appears that the US and Israel were both caught off guard by Iran's announcement. The reasoning is simple. Had the US or Israel announced the existence of he new facility before Iran's notified the IAEA, it would have put Iran on the defensive. As it is now, the US and Israel seem to be playing catch up, casting doubt on the veracity of Israel's claims to "know" that Iran is a nuclear threat.
7. The IAEA and all 16 United States Intelligence Agencies are unanimous in agreement that Iran is not building and does not possess nuclear weapons.
8. In 1986, Mordachai Vanunu blew the whistle and provided photographs showing Israel's clandestine nuclear weapons factory underneath the reactor at Dimona.
9. Israel made the same accusations against Iraq that it is making against Iran, leading up to Israel's bombing of the power station at Osirik. Following the invasion of 2003, international experts examined the ruins of the power station at Osirik and found no evidence of a clandestine weapons factory in the rubble.
10. The United Nations has just released the Goldstone Report, a scathing report which accuses Israel of 37 specific war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza earlier this year. Israel has denounced the report as "Anti-Semitic (even though Judge Goldstone is himself Jewish), and the United States will block the report from being referred to the War Crimes Tribunal at the Hague, thereby making the US Government an accessory after-the-fact.
11. Recently revealed documents prove not only that Israel has nuclear weapos, but actually tried to sell some to Apartheid South Africa. Who else Israel approached to sell nuclear weapons remains an unasked question.
12. In 1965, Israel stole over 200-600 pounds of weapons-grade uranium from the United States.
13. Declassified documents from the former South African regime prove not only that Israel has had nuclear weapons for decades, but has tried to sell them to other countries!
We all need to be Joe Wilson right now. We need to stand up and scream, "LIAR!" at every politician and every talking media moron that is pushing this war in Iran. And we need to keep dong it until they get the message that we will not be deceived any more.

By the time we got up North on Friday (noon) all of are regular camp sites were taken, But we knew of an undeveloped site off the trail a ways and decided to camp there. We did some exploring and found a shady spot a little further in and up hill from a nice creek, Heavily wooded and we could hear the rushing water from the creek but couldn't see it, Sharon wanted to find it so I grabbed the machete and we made our way down the hillside. Huge boulders and downed trees made some rapids and pools of water, The temperature was quite a bit cooler down there and it was a welcome relief from the heat up on top of the hill. We decided that we would start clearing the area and use it for future camping. The ticks were still very bad but I had been psyching myself up for them for the last 2 weeks hopeing they would be gone for the season or be prepared to deal with them just so I could camp. I stopped counting them (ticks) after about 10 and was making the best of it :-) We had a nice fire going and darkness had fallen I had the lantern going and hung from the ridge line sitting there having a cup of tea when all of a sudden something big swooped down and landed on my neck I brushed it off feeling the leathery wings when I did and heard him as he flew away, A Bat!!! of all things WHEW! I was doing good with the tick thing and then got attacked by a Bat...All in all is was great though cause camping is never boring for me.

My neighbor Eric (Snakebite) asked me to go fishing with him in the morning, I already had my fishing license but hadn't been fishing yet this year. I got up at 0400 and we left sometime after 0600. Sharon went to and we stopped to get some bait, There were sure a lot of boats heading North that morning and when we got to Lake Machickanee there were lots of people and more boats coming then we found out that there was a Bass Tournament going on there. I had never fished there before and don't own a boat so I just fished from shore. I put a minnow on one pole and threw it out then told Sharon I was going to go down a ways by the weeds and work a Night Crawler, I had just cast the crawler and Sharon said I had a bite on the minnow so I told her to take care of it and She reeled in a nice Channel Catfish. I kept getting hits on the crawler and suspected it was Bass and after several more crawlers I finally hooked one a Very Nice 5 pound Large Mouth Bass pictured above. I caught several more Bass and after 2 hours we were ready to head home. Everyone remarked that I probably won the Bass Tournament! HaHa No $20,000.00 Bass Boat just an old $20.00 fishing pole and a Night Crawler.

Bears and Ticks Oh My!
Sharon was with me, We were looking for new campsites and parked to go on foot down this lane we were at. Sharon had to take her boot off and while standing outside the jeep I looked down the lane again and saw the bear, I said Sharon look a bear and she looked up and said get the camera and I said get in the jeep! The bear was standing by a tree when He saw us or heard us he took off. We drove down there and saw the tree, The bear had removed bark looking for grubs or? The height of the tree damage was around 9 feet. Sharon said to me "You know no one is going to believe us" She said "I'm NOT camping here, Lets go to our other site" I said Oh you think there are less bears over there! (1.5 miles away) HaHa
We parked again and got out, Walking a quarter mile looking for sites and blowing our bear whistles. Got back in the car and heading down the main dirt road I noticed a Tick on my pants then more ticks and more ticks I parked jumped out and brushed them off went to the back and looked for the spray and then we hosed each other down with it. Instead of camping in the woods we ended up going to our usual site that has large clearing 90 by 200 ft. We set up the ridge line, tent and tarps and while Sharon was finishing up with the sleeping bags and pads I sprayed myself with repellent, Took my sled the bow saw axe and machete and headed into the woods to start collecting firewood, I filled my sled and was heading back when I heard Sharon blow her whistle so I waited for her then we filled her sled and headed back to camp. Sharon prepared some kindling and I went and gathered enough Birch bark to get a fire going and we settled in and relaxed a while. Sharon made some noodles on a Esbit Stove and I boiled some water with an Esbit tab and a canteen stove and made some tea. When darkness fell we fired up the lantern and hung it from the ridge line and about 11 o clock we headed into the tent for bed. We lit a candle and snuggled into our sleeping bags, Sharon fell asleep and I was laying there thinking about bears WHEN all of a sudden I felt something on my shoulder! I grabbed it a TICK and threw it into the candle, Then I saw another one on my shoulder (T Shirt) I hollered at Sharon get up and help me! 5 Ticks now in hot candle wax stripped down wiped head to toe with repellent towelettes I finally get back in my bag with a serious case of the Heebie Jeebies. Not sleeping well at all I find and capture yet another Tick at 3:45 am I decided then we would cut our camping trip short. I got up 42° degrees out, Took my pajamas and all the other clothes and sealed them up in a water proof bag then bat-toned some wood and built a fire made a pot of coffee. After Sharon got up we started breaking camp and headed home. Ticks again, Now we are seeing ticks in the jeep! We stopped at a gas station so Sharon could use the bathroom, I found some Raid insect Killer for $6.49 plus tax and sprayed down the jeep. We made it home and did a Body search of each other for ticks. Sharon who claims super natural immunity to ticks has one under her bra! Then over come with Tick Itis she has something crawling in her hair and we find with a brush the Last Tick! Whew Hot Hot Showers and this adventure is finally over and I sleep for the next 5 hours.

Separation of Christianity and State
Almost all Americans have heard the phrase “separation of church and state.” It has been used as something of a club to “beat down” and eliminate Christianity from public places, including symbols (like crosses), disallow Bible reading and prayer in public schools, and stop the teaching of creation in science classes.
Now, where does the phrase “separation of church and state” come from? It is not a part of the original U.S. Constitution of 1787, as most people falsely believe, or in any of its amendments. In reality, the idea of a “wall of separation” between church and state came from a private letter from President Thomas Jefferson, and it has sadly been misused to slowly, but surely, eliminate Christianity from the public sector—and replace it with an anti-God religion.
The Establishment Clause in the First Amendment was intended to protect the church from the (federal) government, not the government from the church. Therefore, no “national” church or religion is allowed to be established by the federal government.
I will highlight key words of the First Amendment:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof . . . .
You can see that the “separation of church and state” phrase is nowhere in the Amendment (or the rest of the Constitution). The 1802 letter from Jefferson was sent to the Danbury Baptist Association in Connecticut in response to the group’s letter to him. Jefferson was trying to assure the Baptists that the federal government would never be permitted to interfere with the church. In fact, in his letter, Jefferson states:
Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man & his god, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and state.1
Today, secular scholars have lifted the Danbury letter out of its entire historical context and have turned the so-called “wall” metaphor completely on its head.
“Separation of church and state” is now used to protect the government from the influence of the church—establishing a policy of freedom “from” religion, which in reality has become “separation of Christianity and state.” This would have been an entirely foreign and unintended concept to the Founding Fathers.
This misrepresentation of the Constitution was witnessed once again as I attended a debate in March, in which Rev. Barry Lynn, a liberal minister, lawyer, and the head of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, spoke. Not only did he argue for separation, but claimed that government “neutrality” towards Christianity was his group’s aim. Sadly, most Americans (Christians included) have also been duped into believing that the so-called “separation of church and state” requires eliminating the Christian God and creating a neutral situation. But there is no such position as neutrality. Indeed, one is either for Christ or against Him (Matthew 12:30)!
The religion of naturalism (atheism) has been imposed on the public education system, and on the culture as a whole. For instance, science textbooks in the public schools now typically define science as naturalism (atheism):
Science requires repeatable observations and testable hypotheses. These standards restrict science to a search for natural causes for natural phenomena . . . . Supernatural explanations of natural events are simply outside the bounds of science.2
In keeping with this pronouncement, these books teach molecules-to-man evolution, based only on unproven natural processes, as fact! In other words, they have eliminated the supernatural and replaced it with naturalism. In reality, they have eliminated the Christian worldview and replaced it with a secular, atheistic one!
Sadly, because many Christians have falsely believed that there can be a neutral position, and have also been duped regarding the so-called “separation of church and state,” they are not prepared to boldly and unashamedly stand on the Word of God as they confront issues like abortion, “gay” marriage, racism, etc. By shrinking back, believers have allowed the secularists to impose their anti-God atheistic religion on the public schools—and the culture as a whole.
Answers in Genesis has launched its “I am Not Ashamed” campaign to challenge Christians to publicly and unashamedly stand on the Word of God. Only then, from the basis of the Bible’s absolute authority, will Christians be able to effectively combat the immorality that plagues our nation.

The Elect
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Do you think that Jesus just walked up to strangers and pick out His disciples? No, He knew them from the first earth age before the over throw of satan, because of his rebellion against God and their dedication to God. That’s why He told Jeremiah, I knew you before you were in the womb. Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. It’s no accident that you seek God and have the desire to study God’s Word. Christ is saying that He is a friend to the Election and He will supply all of your needs when you are witnessing for Him. When we ask in Jesus’ name we are agreeing that Jesus is the Son of God and we are honoring Jesus Christ and are part of His Kingdom.

I agree with two of the other reviewers who make such a bold remark, this IS THE BEST BOOK I've ever read, or rather my FAVORITE BOOK. I would be amiss if I failed to mention that there have been other "books" in my life that have been more important. But for a definitive place to "start with the story" - Sargon is impossible to beat. Not only does Mrs. Bristowe prove that this was Cain, but she unknowingly proves, I think, that Cain was the offspring of Eve and the Serpent and that explains just about everything! Don't worry about the conspiracy theory of an "us vs. them" that some say is the basis for the telling of this piece of our human history. God settled that issue once before in the story of Noah 2,000 years later. Christ himself called them out too, 2,000 years after that! He even said that the key to knowing the time of his return is Noah. They are still here and they are to be taken care of by the One who also made them and still offers them love and forgiveness, just like He does you and me. Besides, who knows that we all don't have some of Cain's blood in us. It's none of our business in other words, nothing we can do about it. What's important is just, for you & me to know the story! It's another piece of the puzzle, but a BIG piece, and a Dot to connect that makes just about everything else in the world make sense now. That is, if you've ever wondered how we got to be this way? It's not for the light thinker nor faint of heart; and it's a pretty hard if not wild story to swallow. But with a sincere heart to know the truth, even if you don't like it, and a completely opened mind, the reader will not help but be able to draw their own conclusions about one of the biggest cover-ups of all time!

Three Earth Ages
(11.) There are three earth ages in God's Word. You will find in Genesis 1 verse 2, in the Hebrew, that the words about the earth 'was without form and void', in reality mean 'laid waste' and 'a ruin'. The word 'was' means 'became'; the phrase 'without form' (tohuw) means 'to lie waste, a desolation'; and 'void' (bohuw) means 'an undistinguishable ruin'. God did not create the earth in this desolate state, as written in Isaiah 45:18, for the same Hebrew word, tohuw is written there. Satan's rebellion caused this 'overthrow' so God destroyed that first earth age, the time of lost cities and ancient fossil remains. So there is a gap of time between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 that is alluded to in God's Word, but not in so much detail. There is no way of determining how long that first earth age was. This fact, established from God's Word dispels the myth that the earth is only 6,000 years old. This earth is literally millions of years old probably. Jehovah gave another warning referring to that time when He destroyed that first earth age with a trembling in Jeremiah 4. There you will find in Hebrew the words tohuw va bohuw again. He is warning His 'sottish' (foolish, silly) children that He's going to cause that 'trembling' of the mountains again. This will happen along with His 'consuming fire' that will burn up all the works of man from this earth, to 'renew' the earth for the last earth age, God's eternity.
The sin of Satan caused God to begin this now present flesh age, in order to give all a chance to come to The Father, except Satan and his host.. II Peter 3 also gives another reference to this with "...that by the word of God the heavens were of old,..." (II Peter 3:5). Also, this old earth's geographical pole is about 90 miles off from its true magnetic pole. Buttercups were found in the stomach of mammoths in Alaska, buried and frozen in ice, showing an instant and sudden freeze, not one gradually over time.There is a parallel to this in Isaiah 11 where it is written that in God's eternity the wolf will dwell with the lamb, and the lion will eat straw like an ox. This hasn't happened yet friend.
This earth has become a desolation again today, similar to the earth's state at Genesis 1:2, and God is going to put the earth through a scrubbing, again. His children that love Him and try their best to follow His Word are not to worry, for He is not angry at them. This 'trembling', or putting back of this earth's original created state will happen again as it did after Lucifer rebelled. All will be in their spiritual or angelic bodies at that time, as written in I Cor.15, Luke 21, Zechariah 3, Matthew 22:30, Rev.22:8-9, and Ezekiel 39 through the end of that Book.
Try to understand that all souls were created by God in the beginning. The time we have spent in this little ole' flesh body is a drop in the bucket compared to the time in the spiritual body. Understanding these things are part of coming back into 'remembrance' of former things, and is part of God's Truth that will set you free. And these Truths dealing with the three earth ages and the differences between the 'angelic' and flesh body will help alleviate worries and anxieties concerning the future. Get into The Word for yourself. Don't rely on any man to do it for you. They will not be there to defend you on the day of The Great White Throne judgement. The Lord gave us His Word in order to set us free from this flesh state of sin, but truly in 'remembrance' of former things through His Son Christ Jesus are we in fact 'free'. This He gives for all those who love Him through Jesus Christ.

(12.) The seven signs Jesus taught in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 are the seven seals of Revelation. One only need figure out their proper order according to Revelation, and you'll find that they match. Note that this was a 'private' teaching to the Apostles. Not everyone will understand, but if you are truly sincere with our heavenly Father, you will be considered in right of possession of the knowledge of these signs of the endtime. They are easy to understand given patience, nothing magical about it, only that sincerity and a pure heart is necessary, and of course, a willingness to study for yourself. Most new Christians make the mistake of jumping into the Book of Revelation before they have a proper foundation in the Old Testament. I don't care what any man says, if you don't properly understand much of the Old Testament, especially the Book of Genesis, you will not truly understand Revelation.

He was right. God could not make Stradivarious violins without Antonio Stradivari. Certain gifts were given to that craftsman that no other violin maker possessed.
In the same vein, there are certain things you can do that no one else can. Perhaps it is parenting, or constructing houses, or encouraging the discouraged.
There are things that only you can do, and you are alive to do them. In the great orchestra we call life, you have an instrument and a song, and you owe it to God to play them both sublimely. ~ The Applause of Heaven by Max Lucado

The History of the Geneva Bible
The Geneva Bible was the "Bible of the Protestant Reformation", and the Bible of the Puritans and Pilgrims. It was the first Bible taken to America, brought over on the Mayflower. The Geneva Bible is the Bible upon which America was founded. You can imagine, most early American colonists, who were fleeing the religious oppression of the Anglican Church (Church of England), wanted nothing to do with the King James Bible of the Anglican Church!

Textually, the Geneva Bible offered a number of radical never-before-seen changes: It was the first Bible in English to add numbered verses to each chapter of scripture. Also, the Geneva was the first Bible to introduce easier-to-read “Roman Style Typeface” rather than the “Gothic Blackletter Style Typeface” which had been used exclusively in earlier Bibles. Another curious innovation; the Geneva was the first “Study Bible ” with extensive commentary notes in the margins.

In fact, one of the greatest ironies of history, is that Protestants of all denominations today embrace the King James Version of the Bible (which reads 90% the same as the Geneva), even though the King James Version is not a Protestant Bible (it’s Anglican / Church of England). Most Protestants have never even heard of the Bible of their own heritage: the Geneva Bible. It was produced by John Calvin, John Knox, Myles Coverdale, John Foxe, & other English refugees in ever-neutral Geneva, Switzerland… fleeing the persecution of Roman Catholic Queen “Bloody” Mary in England. Mary would not tolerate the Protestant Geneva Bible, which proclaimed the Pope an “antichrist” in its commentarynotes.

I get really tired of Facebook and would prefer to use a medium like this instead, Google has just come out with something called Google Wave and once it gets going will solve this problem also, Don't get me wrong FB has a lot of good things going for it but you have to put up with a lot of trash that you have no interest in.

Why have a Blog?
There are as many reasons as there are blogs and I must say that many of them are quite good, Well written and informative. I went to a blog from a link on Twitter and there was a box at the top that said, "Next Blog" So I clicked on it and was just amazed at all the quality blogs I found, Each one from a different author on a variety of subjects. I have a blog on Word Press and have posted a few of my thoughts there. The purpose for this one is a little different though, Because I surf the internet so much in search of various things I'm interested in at the time and want to share what I find without filling up every ones in box, I thought I would post these things here then people can come here and check them out on their own.
